Jennifer Upton Arellano is an accountant/CPA Exam candidate and Furman University Graduate.  She is employed by Godwin & Associates, CPA.

She resides in Belton, SC with her husband Tim.

Affectionately known by his peers as “Taz,” Virgil has been the Senior Metrology Specialist at Lockheed-Martin Aeronautics since 2005. He is a 2004 graduate of the Industrial Maintenance Technology Program at GTC, which is now called Mecha-Tronics. Virgil truly believe that “Knowledge Is Power” and that knowledge is the foundation for a strong & prosperous future. Joining the board of AVFL will allow Virgil to share his life’s knowledge with student athletes to help empower them to take control of their futures.

Michael Delaney has been the principal of Carolina High School and Academy located in Greenville County since August of 2011. Prior to that he has served in other roles at Carolina High School since 2004. He has served in the role of teacher, Director  of Freshmen Academy, Assistant Principal, and as a coach of various sports. He was named the 2016 School Administrator of the Year for the Greenville County School District. His motto to live by is Whatever It Takes!

William "Billy" Seawright is the Environmental Safety and Health Site lead at the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics facility in Greenville SC. He is also the Unit Commander for local Anderson area Electric City Young Marines, a National youth organization that promotes Leadership, Discipline, and Teamwork along with community service and citizenship.

Pedro Vidal (P.J.) has been the Chemical Site Manager for Wesco Aircraft supporting Lockheed Martin in Greenville SC since 2014.  He has been in the United States Marine Corps Reserves for the past seventeen and half years working supply administration.  He has one combat deployment with Marine Special Operations Command serving as a support element receiving the Navy Commendation Medal.  After returning from deployment, he started coaching high school baseball at Carolina High School.  His mission is to help provide a strong foundation for students and athletes to create a better community.


Athletes Volunteer For Life is an organization that was established with our student athletes in mind.  The mission is to bring athletes together from different schools and have them serve together within the community.  Trying to build comradery amongst their competitors and working together for the same cause.  In return, teaching them humility, leadership, team work, and responsibility which will help prepare them for their next steps in life.
